How To Become A Play Tester
Getting your hands on the next generation of PlayStation is much tougher than you would think, given how secretive Sony has been in regards to revealing details about the console.
In fact, it is highly unlikely that the general public will be able to become play-testers of the new console.
Despite the lack of a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at what Sony is working on, fans are likely to get access to the PS5 at Gamescom 2020, one of the largest gaming conventions in the world.
For North American fans, you can expect to get hands-on with the console at a number of events where Sony will be in attendance.
Like in 2019, Sony will not be attending E3 2020 but has confirmed that it will be "participating in hundreds of consumer events" throughout the year.

Like the PS4, players may be able to get a glimpse on what the PS5 offers by becoming a system software beta tester.
This is often one of the best ways to get an exclusive look at upcoming firmware updates for the PS4 and it may reveal some more information surrounding the PS5.
