Fresh off of revealing a hugely successful Q4, Microsoft could be in talks to acquire another publisher or developer, according to multiple rumours.

Originating from Xbox Era and @XboxRagnar on Twitter (via Reddit), and corroborated by Windows Central's Jez Corden, it sounds as though the company is making moves.

Thurrott's Brad Sams also noted that he's heard similar, suggesting that the rumours could hold some weight.

Rumours have circulated before that Microsoft could be interested in Sega, as well as Warner Bros Interactive.
