Cyberpunk 2077: Enhanced Version Coming To PS5 And Xbox Series X

CD Projekt Red have confirmed that their latest title Cyberpunk 2077, which is due out later this year after a delay, will arrive on both PS5 and Xbox Series X.

The future generational game is coming to both next-generation consoles despite Sony not confirming it through their own channels.

Cyberpunk 2077 Coming To PS5 And Xbox Series X

It was confirmed earlier this year that Cyberpunk 2077 will arrive on the Xbox Series X with an enhanced version. Players can obtain this version for FREE via Smart Delivery if they already own the game.

However, Sony was not included in any announcement regarding the new game.

The game’s developer CD Projekt Red confirmed that the next-generation of consoles will receive Cyberpunk 2077, but will not come with graphics and performance improvements at launch.

CD Projekt’s SVP of business development Michal Nowakowski said in an interview with Video Games Chronicle:

"In terms of Microsoft's console, like I said, we have officially confirmed both the update and the cross-gen availability, meaning that you'll be able to play the game from the get-go on the next-gen,"

"However, when it comes to a proper, full-blown next-gen version, that's going to come later, we haven't announced when and I don't have a new comment here on that."

It's a shame that neither console will be able to provide consumers with an enhanced version and it's unknown when we may receive this.
