When it comes to selecting the very best light machine gun (LMG) to use in Warzone, there are very few weapons in the category that can match the immense power of the PKM.
Armed with a huge magazine as standard alongside minimal levels of recoil, the LMG has recently skyrocketed in popularity as Season 4 Reloaded of the battle royale gets underway.
It can be confusing to determine the best set of attachments thanks to the Gunsmith, but after some experimenting, we managed to find the ultimate combo that will dominate the opposition with ease.
In this guide, find the best PKM Warzone attachments and the best loadout to use!
PKM Warzone Best Attachments
- Monolithic Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 26.9" Extended Barrel (Barrel)
- Tac Laser (Laser)
- VLK 3.0x Optic (Optic)
- Snatch Grip (Underbarrel)
In order to maximise damage, the monolithic suppressor and extended barrel make an appearance on this particular PKM build. With increases in damage range, it's very easy to take down any opponents in mid-range gunfights.
With 100 rounds in the standard magazine, there's no need to equip an alternative magazine, which is why we selected the Tac Laser to provide a much-needed increase in aim-down sight speed.
Warzone PKM Best Loadout
Secondary Weapon - MP5 (Modern Warfare)
Due to slow mobility, the PKM is almost useless in close quarters engagements which is why we have selected Modern Warfare's MP5 as our secondary weapon.
Featuring incredible mobility, it's an ideal crutch to fall back on when the PKM can't do the job.
This particular combination appears in nearly every single Warzone loadout because it is so effective.
EOD increases explosive resistance, Overkill enables you to equip two primary weapons in the same loadout, and Amped increases weapon swap speed, giving you the ability to switch between the MP5 and PKM as fast as possible.
Is The PKM Good In Warzone?
After a few matches, the PKM has grown on me a lot. For those mid-range duels against a fully-equipped AR, the PKM can easily contend with them and with a high output of damage, destroying armour and downing opponents is no problem whatsoever.
If you want an alternative to the usual assault rifles floating around the meta, I would recommend giving the PKM a try!
