Warzone’s Invisibility Glitch Has Returned…Again

Since Black Ops Cold War was integrated into Warzone at the beginning of Season 1, several bugs, glitches, and exploits have plagued various areas of the extremely popular battle royale.

Despite the best efforts of developer Raven Software in Season 2, issues such as the notorious infinite stim glitch continue to appear on a regular basis. While the infinite stim glitch seemingly a thing of the past, another glitch that has a drastic effect on how the game is played has appeared once again.

This overpowered bug turns players invisible, much to the annoyance of players that already have to deal with Roze’s Operator skins which make it almost impossible to spot a target from within the shadows.

Here’s everything we know about the latest invisibility glitch to hit Warzone.

It’s currently unclear as to how big the issue is, but Reddit user ‘fcpl’ was quick to showcase a clip of him being eliminated by players that can’t be seen.

If you watch the clips several times over, it might look like players are simply hiding in a corner but there are no signs of a player ever appearing.

The clips where the player arrives on the roof of one of Downtown’s many skyscrapers confirm that the invisibility glitch is back in full force.

While it’s annoying for the victims of the glitch, it’s not clear as to whether the invisible players even realise that they can’t be seen which makes this iteration of the glitch even more peculiar.

When Will It Be Fixed?

Considering the significant impact that invisible players can have on the game, it’s likely that Raven Software will be looking at implementing some kind of fix as soon as possible in order to avoid further backlash from the often-vocal community.

The mid-season update for Season 2 is right around the corner so there’s every chance that the annoying bug will disappear in the not-too-distant future.
