Season 3 of Warzone is finally underway! The start of the new season has introduced a range of new content including new Operators, a brand-new iteration of Verdansk, and more have arrived into the immensely popular battle royale.
As always, a new season brings new additions to the weapon arsenal and Activision has pulled out all the stops, introducing the PPSH submachine gun and the Swiss K31, a brand-new bolt-action sniper rifle.
Packing a deadly punch thanks to its high damage output, the Swiss K31 could well slot straight into the metagame as one of the strongest weapons to use in long-distance engagements.

Swiss K31 Sniper Rifle
Alongside its deadly long-range capabilities, the Swiss K31 also features impressive accuracy levels which are instrumental when attempting to pick off an opponent from afar.
Combined with fast aim-down-sight speeds, the Swiss K31 feels like an upgraded version of the Kar98k marksman rifle, which has proved an extremely popular choice throughout the duration of Season 2.
With a number of attachments to equip in the Gunsmith, there is a multitude of variations that enables the sniper rifle to suit a variety of play styles.
Warzone Swiss K31 Best Attachments
After spending some time testing a range of attachments, here are the best to select:
- GRU Suppressor (Muzzle)
- 24.9" Combat Recon (Barrel)
- Axial Arms 3x (Optic)
- Bruiser Grip (Underbarrel)
- Serpent Wrap (Rear Grip)
This combination of attachments is the perfect mix of mobility and lethal damage output. The choice of barrel and suppressor improves damage range, reducing the change of scoring a hit-marker on a faraway target while the Axial Arms optic gives players a clear view of any target no matter how far away they are.
For mobility, we selected the bruiser grip and the serpent wrap which enables players to quickly dart into cover if they come under any resistance from players equipped for close-range and mid-range action.
Swiss K31 Warzone Loadout
Secondary - CR-56 AMAX
- Tactical Suppressor (Muzzle)
- XRK Zodiac S440 (Barrel)
- FTAC Hunter (Stock)
- XRK CR-56 Stippled Wrap (Rear Grip)
- Commando Foregrip (Underbarrel)
The AMAX has come into its own since it arrived in Warzone and has become a staple of the metagame.
The assault rifle excels in mid-range combat thanks to its consistent fire rate and low recoil levels.
While the Swiss K31 can struggle to content with assault rifles in the heat of battle, the AMAX is the ideal secondary weapon to create what is an incredibly versatile loadout.
- Semtex (Lethal)
- Stun Grenade (Tactical)
As always, selecting utility is personal preference but on this occasion, I went for a Semtex and stun grenade combination.
The Semtex can be thrown quickly and can be stuck to an enemy, guaranteeing an elimination while the stun grenade slows down an opponent, making them easy pickings for the Swiss K31.
- EOD (Perk 1)
- Overkill (Perk 2)
- Amped (Perk 3)
EOD provides an increase in explosive resistance which can often be the difference between staying alive or being sent to the Gulag if grenades are raining down onto your position during a gunfight.
Overkill gives you the chance to equip two primary weapons in the same loadout to improve versatility on the battlefield and Amped shortens weapon swap speed, making it very easy to switch between the Swiss K31 and the AMAX so you always have the right weapon out for the task at hand.
Is It Good?
Even without any attachments, the Swiss K31 sniper rifle is lethal in long-range duels. From the chest upwards, it's a guaranteed one-shot kill regardless of whether they have any armour equipped.
With some attachments equipped, the sniper moves into a league of its own thanks to its phenomenal mobility and lack of recoil.
If you're looking for something different to dominate the long-range fights, I recommend using the Swiss K31.
