The fifth season of post-launch content will be the penultimate Season of the Black Ops Cold War cycle, with many expecting a reveal for COD 2021to take place within the battle royale through an immersive in-game event similar to how the fifth Black Ops title was revealed. Based on when the Season 4 Battle Pass comes to an end, Season 5 for both titles is set to go live on August 12th with another huge drop of content for multiplayer and the streets of Verdansk. More details surrounding the season are likely to appear in the coming days.

On July 29th, the Black Ops developer unveiled the first official teaser for Season 5, showing Wraith confirming that the satellite destruction has gone to plan.
The trailer also shows a mysterious bag left underneath a bench that has been left for an "Operator with the unique skills to execute Stitch's endgame." What could Stitch possibly have in store for Verdansk?
