Early Warzone Mobile Gameplay and Images Leaked

Other than its Project Aurora codename, information on the mobile version of Warzone is slowly emerging. Considering the immense success of COD Mobile, it's no surprise to see Activision developing Warzone Mobile, taking Call of Duty battle royale action to even more devices.

In a recent blog post, the publisher confirms the game is in development with lucky players receiving invitations to a closed alpha test.

Although those testing the game are instructed not to share information, early gameplay footage and a wealth of screenshots have appeared, much to the excitement of fans.

Warzone Mobile Gameplay Leaked

Footage of a player landing on a skyscraper appeared from notable Call of Duty leaker "CoD_Perseus" on June 5. The now-deleted video also includes a look at gunplay in addition to a look at the Gulag and the layout of the map.

The footage confirms rumours of the original Verdansk map making a return to the battle royale which will excite those that still aren't fans of Caldera on PC and consoles.

In addition, the original Gulag layout is also making a return meaning Warzone Mobile will bear heavy resemblances to how Warzone looked when it first launched in March 2020.

Alongside the short gameplay clip, a wealth of in-game screenshots appeared showcasing the user interface and a look at Verdansk on mobile devices.

As with all leaks, it's important to take them with a pinch of salt. However, the gameplay and images show a polished product despite its early development stage. There's a high chance several Warzone Mobile features will change so it could look significantly different.

For the time being, it looks like Warzone Mobile is on its way to becoming another impressive battle royale experience for those that want to take their Call of Duty action on the go.
