JGOD Reveals RPD Was Secretly Changed To Make It Better in Warzone AND His Loadout

James 'JGOD' Godoy learned of a change in a Warzone weapon. Apparently, the Warzone developers didn't tell anyone that they had upgraded the RPD. Of course, JGOD investigated these claims and found them to be valid.

JGOD not only went over the changes but also showed what his preferred build was. As always, we've provided the screenshot, the written description, and the video itself.

Secret Warzone buffs

JGOD said he had received a tip about a change to the RPD's recoil. After checking it out, it does appear that the change is real.

JGOD claims that the weapon's recoil now has more verticality and does not stop moving after 20 or so shots as the MP5 did. As a result, you only have to pull the trigger down ever so slightly to control the recoil. Here's the video from JGOD and his preferred build starts at 7:33.

Unfortunately, this did not increase damage. As of right now, JGOD believes it's still outside the meta, but "lower-skill" players might want to give it a try since the recoil makes it "easier to use" than some other weapons.

He does show his preferred use for this build, which is:

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 20.3" Task Force
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Optic: Axial Arms 3x
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap

This isn't the meta, or even close to it. There's still work to be done before it reaches that point. Despite this, it has become a much more reliable weapon thanks to this buff.
