The start of Season 1 Reloaded for Warzone Pacific and Vanguard is right around the corner and while there is little information on what the mid-season update will include for both titles, players are looking forward to seeing what Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software have in store.
The first content drop of 2022 isn't expected to be jam-packed full of brand-new content but there is one addition that could well spark change in the metagames of both titles. The Welgun submachine gun (SMG) will be the newest weapon to join Vanguard and Warzone's extensive arsenals and has the potential to be the next best weapon to use in a loadout. How To Unlock Welgun
The process of unlocking the Welgun won't involve working through endless Tiers of the Battle Pass which will be music to the ears of many members of the community. According to a Call of Duty blog post, players will be able to get their hands on this new SMG by completing an in-game challenge.
The challenge requirements are as follows:
- Get 10 Kills with an SMG while Aiming Down Sights in a single match 15 times.
For those that want an even faster method of unlocking the Welgun, it's expected that the SMG will be available in a range of store bundles, giving you access to a weapon blueprint complete with a predetermined set of attachments.
