The hype surrounding Season 3 of Warzone has reached fever pitch levels after Activision unveiled the full roadmap for the upcoming season.
The season is expected to be one of the biggest and most exciting in the history of the battle royale as the new season will introduce a brand-new iteration of Verdansk set in the 1980s alongside a wealth of brand-new content.
As well as a new map, the PPSH submachine gun makes its return to the Call of Duty franchise as well as a brand-new event known as the "Hunt For Adler."
With so much content arriving, it's likely that the update will need a significant amount of free space on the hard drives of consoles and PC. With that said, exactly how big is Warzone's Season 3 update?
Warzone Season 3 Update Size
With so much content combined with such a huge change to Warzone, the file size is fairly large but not as big as the Season 2 Reloaded update which was over 50GB for all platforms.
Find a full list of update sizes below:
- PlayStation 5: 25.6GB
- PlayStation 4: 25.6GB
- Xbox Series S|X: 25.9GB
- Xbox One: 25.9GB
- PC: 25.2GB
All things considered, the update size for Season 3 isn't too bad even though it may take a while for some players to download and copy the file before jumping into the action.
PlayStation players should be able to pre-load the update in the coming days, allowing them to jump straight into the action as soon as the new season goes live.
