Following the unveiling of the Season 4 roadmap, players are looking forward to another exciting season of post-launch content for Warzone. In addition to the Fortune's Keep map and a new Battle Pass containing 100 Tiers of cosmetics, Double XP Tokens, and two new guns. Alongside all of the new additions, the Golden Plunder LTM adds a twist on the popular Plunder mode.

New Warzone modes appear on a regular basis, with some such as Caldera Clash proving extremely popular alternatives to the standard dose of battle royale action.

With that said, there are plenty of adjustments within the Golden Plunder mode to be aware of. With that said, find all there is to know about the latest limited-time mode (LTM) arriving in Warzone in our dedicated hub containing all the rules and regulations.

What is the Warzone Golden Plunder LTM?

With stealing gold the main theme of Season 4, Golden Plunder aims to take inspiration from all the thieving. The mode sees players dropping into the mode with respawns enabled allowing them to drop back into the action as fast as possible.

The main objective of the mode is to collect Cash similar to a standard Plunder match. The players with the most amount of Cash at the end of the match is the winner.

Although we've had no confirmation, we expect Golden Plunder to take place on the new Fortune's Keep map but if there's a high player count, there's every chance of the mode moving to Caldera for some additional space.

Warzone Golden Plunder Rules

There are numerous changes for Golden Plunder. The first is an increase in player count. Rather than 100 players dropping into the action, 120 will start the match to create plenty of action wherever you decide to land.

Additionally, players that you eliminate will drop a higher amount of Cash in comparison to Blood Money meaning you'll need to collect a higher amount in order to score the win. Teams will need a total of $5m to stand on the top step of the podium.

For a quick boost of Cash keep an eye out for any ATM machines. They "keep spewing out endless amounts of cash," that could make all the difference when attempting to reach the target.

Lastly, there's a Golden Keycard up for grabs. If you're lucky enough to find one during a Golden Plunder match, use it to open a bunker full of high-tier loot to give you and your teammates the upper hand.
