How to Unlock the Type 99 in Warzone

Players shouldn’t have to worry too much about unlocking the Type 99 since it’s the first Sniper Rifle available in Vanguard, which should make it an easy get in Warzone if players have both games.

Best Type 99 Warzone Attachments

Like most Sniper Rifles in the game, the Type 99 does a ton of damage and has a high level of accuracy but it’s a weapon you have to be careful with since reloading and aiming can take a while, due to its nature. Here are some attachments that should make the Type 99 sniper even better.

  • Muzzle: Mk. 2 Stabilizer
  • Barrel: Shiraishi Short
  • Optic: No Attachment
  • Stock: Sakura CVR Custom
  • Underbarrel: SMLE Pistol Grip
  • Magazine: No Attachment
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Rear Grip
  • Perk: Spotter

  • Perk 2: Fully Loaded

Having the Mk. 2 Stabilizer should make your shots steadier, which is fairly important if players are planning to use the Type 99 and other Sniper Rifles in the game. Since this is a Sniper, there aren’t any upgrades for its Magazine or Optic but that’s because it’s already fairly strong from afar, and there’s nothing that can suddenly make it as useful as an Assault Rifle.

Best Type 99 Warzone Loadout

Using a Sniper Rifle in Warzone Pacific means that you will needed some great equipment to survive because this gun isn’t something that can protect players by its lonesome, so here are some Perks and Equipment that will make it easier to deal with:

Perks

  • Perk 1: Scavenger
  • Perk 2: Overkill

  • Perk 3: Amped

Considering how important ammunition is for Snipers like the Type 99, having the Scavenger Perk is pretty important since these kills give you extra ammo for your weapon. Since the Sniper is a bit of a hindrance by itself, Overkill and Amped will be needed to equip an extra weapon and switch between them faster, so pick an Assault Rifle to go with the Type 99.

Equipment

  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

  • Lethal: Frag Grenade

While it was nerfed recently, the Heartbeat Sensor is still a must-have for sniper players since it lets you see where nearby players are hiding, even if it's not as overpowered as it was before.

The Frag Grenade is a handy way to retreat when surrounded since you will likely kill a number of foes when doing so and is just a good way to make them spread for your escape.

Is the Type 99 Good in Warzone?

For more strategic players, the Type 99 sniper rifle is a solid way to diversify the gameplay, but everyone else should use some of the more popular weapons that will allow you to run-n-gun more, which is always fun.
