The hotly-anticipated release for Call of Duty: Vanguard is fast approaching and as the community prepares for the beta, Sledgehammer Games has revealed a wealth of information surrounding a number of features and innovations making their debut when the full game releases on November 5th.

Alongside regular XP for players to work their way through levels, Weapon XP to unlock a huge variety of attachments, and Battle Pass XP, two new progression systems will be arriving in Vanguard, much to the excitement of players. In a blog post published by Activision, players can earn Operator XP to unlock everything from Operator Skins, Calling Cards, Weapon Charms, Finishing Moves, and even XP bonuses when using their favourite weapons. The blog reveals that Polina's favourite weapon to use on the battlefield is the 3-Line Rifle and if players use the rifle as the Operator, they will receive an additional XP bonus.

At launch, there will be a total of 12 playable Operators, meaning there will be plenty of bonuses and cosmetic items to unlock before the start of Season One!

The other progression system being implemented is Clan XP. Players can join forces with others to increase their Clan Level which is likely to give them access to a range of exclusive items that cannot be obtained by levelling up through the usual methods.
