When it comes to loadouts in Call of Duty: Vanguard, everyone has their own preferences. Nevertheless, the Automaton is pretty popular, and it's a lot of fun to use. In fact, JGOD considered it one of his top 12 weapons for the next Warzone integration.
Chris 'FaZe Simp' Lehr, a Call of Duty pro and CDL Champion, shared his preferred Automaton loadout. "The best AR class in Vanguard," he said, which is a bold statement. We provide the loadout, a video of him explaining it, and a screenshot for everyone interested.

Vanguard best Automaton loadout
Almost immediately, the video begins with his Vanguard loadout. Vanguard's perks are Ninja, Radar, and Double Time, and he has a frag grenade and stun grenade in his loadout. According to him, these are "the basics for any competitive class right now," so if you want to be a pro, use them.
The loadout itself is pretty simple:
- Magazine: Empty
- Proficiency: Tight Grip
- Kit: On-Hand
- Muzzle: G28 Compensator
- Barrel: Anastasia Sniper
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Granular Grip
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Zac Skeletal
- Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
There is surprisingly little information in the Magazine, which feels like a waste of potential help. There is no mention of why the Magazine is empty, but we have to trust that this pro knows what he's doing.
