Treyarch Reveals Release Window For New Round-Based Zombies Map


Since the release of Mauer Der Toten, the third chapter of the Dark Aether story, many players have been wondering when information surrounding the fourth and final round-based map will be releasing. For several weeks, Treyarch has remained tight-lipped surrounding the new map but as Season 5 Reloaded gets underway, the developer has revealed a release window for the new map, much to the excitement of the community.

The next map to arrive is widely expected to be the final instalment in the Dark Aether story, with the conflict between Requiem and Omega reaching a conclusion before Treyarch takes the reigns of Vanguard's Zombies mode. Cold War Zombies Map 4 Release Window

Within the Season 5 Reloaded blog post published by Activision, the Black Ops developer confirmed that the new map would be arriving in Season 6 before detailing new modes that made their debut in Season 5 Reloaded.

“As development continues on the finale of the Black Ops Cold War Zombies saga in next season’s round-based map, we’ve packed Season Five Reloaded with new ways to play…”

When Will Cold War Zombies Map 4 Release?

While we know that the new map will be appearing in Season 6, Treyarch has yet to reveal an exact release date just yet but thanks to the Battle Pass, we can determine when the final season for Black Ops Cold War will begin. The current Battle Pass is set to end on October 6th, meaning that the next season of post-launch content should start on October 7th which could be the date we get to play a new Zombies map.
