Season 5 of Black Ops Cold War is in full swing and as the latest season of post-launch content begins to focus on Season 5 Reloaded and the mid-season update, players are beginning to grow tired of the TEC-9 submachine gun dominating multiplayer matches thanks to its fast time to kill.
The popular SMG was one of the newest additions to the multiplayer weapon arsenal and it has quickly established itself as one of the strongest weapons to use, with many deeming it overpowered and almost impossible to counter. After declaring the weapon overpowered, many are now claiming that the TEC-9 is completely ruining Black Ops Cold War multiplayer.

TEC-9 Ruining Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer
Having grown tired of constantly dying at the hands of the SMG, Reddit user 'imadjabras' published a post detailing several issues with the weapon that are negatively impacting the multiplayer experience for many. "It's impossible to win gunfights with any other gun vs a TEC-9," the user claimed. "You have to pick the TEC-9 if you want to stand a chance and that is just not fun."
When Will The TEC-9 Get Nerfed?
As complaints surrounding the performance of the TEC-9 continue to grow, some are wondering if it's too late for some kind of nerf to be implemented. Thankfully, Treyarch has already confirmed that weapon tuning for the SMG will be arriving as part of the mid-season update so it won't be too long until some kind of balance is restored to multiplayer.
