How To Get The Nuke Killstreak In Black Ops Cold War

The Nuke killstreak finally arrives in Black Ops Cold War for the first time in the series' history.

Nuke killstreaks have been mainly isolated to Infinity Ward games, with Sledgehammer adopting them in more recent games.

Now Treyarch has finally joined the party since the Season 3 Reloaded update, if only for a limited time.

Here's how to get the Nuke Killstreak in Cold War.

How To Get A Nuke In Cold War

With the Season 3 Reloaded update, Cold War's added a new mode called Die Hardpoint. This in reference to the movie 'Die Hard', which is playing an integral role in the latest update.

The theme for the newest update is 80's Action Heroes, so Treyarch has added a twist to one of its core modes.

In Die Hardpoint, players receive powerful buffs for killing and capturing the Hardpoint. But, these buffs only last if you can stay alive. Just like in Cranked, a timer will start to countdown, you need to keep it ticking along and if it reaches 0, you explode. For every kill or objective, the timer resets to 30 seconds.

Based on early estimations, it looks like getting a 28 killstreak will reward you with the Nuke killstreak. But, there may be other ways to achieve it.
