Boasting one of the best skins and features since release, the weapon is a popular choice for players; especially as its for a heavily meta weapon.

Assault Rifle Charlie Loadout

There are several styles of play that work extremely well with the Krig 6.

The combination of moderate damage and fire rate means it can be effective at close-range, and thanks to its ease of control and lack of recoil, it can be lethal even at the longest of distances.

That means its a versatile weapon with a lot to offer. It's a weapon that excels in Search & Destroy where you need to use your class to its fullest capacity and can't use the Lawbreaker Wild Card.

This combination of attachments suits all styles of play.

The addition of the muzzle brake and the field agent grip reduces recoil to non-existent levels, the speed tape increases aim down sight speed, allowing you to react quickly, and the wire stock improves the sprint to fire speed by 10%, which allows you to quickly react to a target if they suddenly appear in your vision.

Alternatives

If you're looking to play a bit more stealthy, consider using the Suppressor to conceal your shots.

When on maps with lots of walls and blockades, such as Checkmate, trying using the 19.7" Ranger to increase the bullet velocity and deal more damage through objects.

If you'd like a bit more strafe action when shooting and moving (whilst ADS) try using the regular Foregrip underbarrel and the SAS Combat Stock.

It’s very hard to go wrong with selecting a stun grenade as your tactical equipment. Use it to halt the progress of enemies rushing towards your position and disorient their vision, making them easy pickings for either your primary or secondary weapon.

Field Upgrade

Field mics are one of the most useful field upgrades to be using on Black Ops Cold War. Place it in a congested area of the map to reveal the exact location of any opponents in its vicinity.

Tactical mask increases your resistance to stun and flash grenades, which is extremely handy if you plan on playing with plenty of aggression.

Assassin enables you to see enemies that are on a scorestreak. Look out for the crosshair on your mini-map, take them down, and receive an additional score bonus, enabling you to earn your scorestreaks quicker.

It’s hard to choose anything other than Ghost as the third perk. It conceals your location from any enemy Spy Planes when moving, making navigating the map a lot easier knowing the entire enemy team cannot see your position.

Further increase your damage output with two additional pieces of lethal and tactical equipment.

Two well-timed throws of the Semtex could easily result in plenty of additional kills and an extra stun grenade could well be the difference between you continuing your rampage, or sending you to the killcam!

As one of the assault rifles where its mobility often hinders its close-quarters performance, the best strategy to adopt with the Krig 6 equipped is to lock down the lanes from afar. 

While it may not be running and gunning enemies at close range, dominating the long-range battles with the Krig 6 in hand is a very effective way to rack up plenty of kills alongside providing much-needed support for your fellow teammates.
