Best Krig 6 Cold War Loadout

There are several styles of play that work extremely well with the Krig 6. The combination of moderate damage and fire rate means it can be effective at close range, and thanks to its ease of control and lack of recoil, it can be lethal even at the longest of distances.

That means it's a versatile weapon with a lot to offer. It's a weapon that excels in Search & Destroy where you need to use your class to its fullest capacity and can't use the Lawbreaker Wild Card.

Krig 6 Cold War Best Attachments

  • Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
  • Barrel: 19.7” Takedown
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap
  • Stock: Wire Stock

This combination of attachments suits all styles of play.

The addition of the muzzle brake and the field agent grip reduces recoil to non-existent levels, the elastic wrap increases aim down sight speed, allowing you to react quickly, and the wire stock improves the sprint to fire speed by 30%, which allows you to quickly react to a target if they suddenly appear in your vision.

Alternatives

If you're looking to play a bit more stealthy, consider using the Suppressor to conceal your shots. When on maps with lots of walls and blockades, such as Checkmate, try using the 19.7" Ranger to increase the bullet velocity and deal more damage through objects.

If you'd like a bit more strafe speed when shooting and moving while aiming down sights, try using the regular Foregrip underbarrel attachment and the SAS Combat Stock.

Krig 6 Cold War Pro Class

The role of the assault rifle player often revolves around locking down specific areas of the map from a distance, and this combination of attachments allows you to do just that.

  • Optic: Millstop Reflex
  • Barrel: 19.7" Ranger
  • Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
  • Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap
  • Stock: Raider Stock

The underbarrel brings down recoil to minimal levels, drastically improving its accuracy while the rest of the attachments assist by increasing aim down sight speed, sprint to fire time and bullet velocity.

Krig 6 Best Secondary Weapon

The Krig 6 is a lethal weapon at range due to its accuracy and lethality. But, with so many strong close-range weapons, it does fall off here. Getting a nice close-range weapon to compliment it is the ideal setup.

Bullfrog

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake 9
  • Barrel: 7.6” Rifled
  • Body: Steady Aim Laser
  • Underbarrel: Patrol Grip
  • Handle: Serpent Wrap

Use the Krig 6 at range in a more passive style, then as you need to reposition, whip out the Bullfrog.

Lethal

  • Semtex

The Semtex is a deadly piece of equipment thanks to the ability to stick it to any surface on the map. Use it to clear out an objective or the balcony overlooking the outdoor area of Miami where there is always a sniper picking off your comrades with ease.

Tactical

  • Stun Grenade

It’s very hard to go wrong with selecting a stun grenade as your tactical equipment. Use it to halt the progress of enemies rushing towards your position and disorient their vision, making them easy pickings for either your primary or secondary weapon.

Field Upgrade

  • Field Mic

Field mics are one of the most useful field upgrades to be using on Black Ops Cold War. Place it in a congested area of the map to reveal the exact location of any opponents in its vicinity.

Perks

  • Tactical Mask
  • Assassin
  • Ghost

Tactical Mask increases your resistance to stun and flash grenades, which is extremely handy if you plan on playing with plenty of aggression.

Assassin enables you to see enemies that are on a scorestreak. Look out for the crosshair on your mini-map, take them down, and receive an additional score bonus, enabling you to earn your scorestreaks quicker.

It’s hard to choose anything other than Ghost as the third perk. It conceals your location from any enemy Spy Planes when moving, making navigating the map a lot easier knowing the entire enemy team cannot see your position.

Wildcard

  • Lawbreaker

Tips And Tricks

As one of the assault rifles where its mobility often hinders its close-quarters performance, the best strategy to adopt with the Krig 6 equipped is to lock down the lanes from afar.

While it may not be running and gunning enemies at close range, dominating the long-range battles with the Krig 6 in hand is a very effective way to rack up plenty of kills alongside providing much-needed support for your fellow teammates.
