Battlefield 6: Expect Huge Maps And Large Scale Battles, Claims Industry Insider


A lot of what DICE has set for next instalment in the Battlefield franchise is shrouded in mystery.

The title is expected to release at some point in 2021.

Based on past release patterns, the game is estimated to be released in November of next year.

We know DICE has something big planned for Battlefield 6 and a recent leak has certainly confirmed this.

Huge Maps And Battles

A reliable and trusted insider has revealed some exciting information about the upcoming Battlefield title.

@_TomHenderson has stated Battlefield 6 maps have been designed for 128+ players.

It's fair to say that there's going to be some huge maps filled with chaos and carnage.

This is exactly what a lot of Battlefield fans were hoping to see from the next instalment of the franchise.

There's no franchise that quite captures the scale and tension of a war like Battlefield.

@_TomHenderson also confirmed that 32 vs 32 will also be in the standard playlist.

It's great to see DICE opting to provide both large and smaller-scale battles for players.

The more choice the better.

Finally, @_TomHenderson also revealed that DICE is considering experimenting with the Battle Royale genre again.

This is no doubt due to the success and popularity of Call of Duty Warzone.
