A new trailer published by Nvidia shows the latest visuals boasted by Nvidia's PC-exclusive graphical enhancements.

Of course, you'll need to have a PC able to handle the increased system requirements for Battlefield 2042 if you want to reap these benefits, but if you do you'll have a gorgeous-looking time on all the upcoming maps.

Here's the trailer released by Nvidia:

If you're not familiar with ray tracing in gaming, here's the explanation from the Nvidia page:

"Ray tracing refines graphics, creating more realistic scenes that help immerse you in the action. In Battlefield 2042, EA and DICE are introducing Ray-Traced Ambient Occlusion, which accurately adds shadows where game elements occlude light. Be that between a soldier and a wall, a tank and the tarmac, or foliage and the ground."

You'll need a Microsoft DirectX Raytracing (DXR) capable graphics card, and of course, Nvidia recommends its own.

While you wait for Battlefield 2042's release, Nvidia suggests you install their battle-ready drivers for the game, and we recommend you have a look at a few more of our Battlefield pages! We have advice on the best guns in the game, as well as how Battlefield 2042's Battle Pass works.
