Curious? Here's what you need to know about camping in World of Warcraft: Forever.

What Is Camping in World of Warcraft: Forever?

As mentioned, Camping builds on the Basic Campfire we saw in the classic WoW. In Forever, you can create a campsite where players can rest, sit for a moment, gain useful benefits, and contribute crafted objects that make a roadside meeting feel useful, social, and worth remembering.

In Forever, Camping gives players a reason to take a break together before heading back into adventure. While Camping, Professions also gain more depth. Forever introduces 600 new recipes across professions and level ranges, adjusted crafted food that can grant a small experience bonus and stat boosts, and advanced Blueprint recipes from dungeon bosses.

Camping also gives players access to useful benefits such as vendors, repairs, profession workspaces, and one-hour buffs. If you want to get your hands on these buffs, then you'll need to sit by the campfire for a few moments and get rested before going back to your journey. Camping also allows you to refresh your food buffs.

Players can add up to three special crafted objects to a Basic Campfire. Each player can add one object, and each item has a one-hour cooldown. You can get a unique buff depending on your profession or utility, regardless of which object is used. Each profession has three distinct objects learned at varying skill levels.

You will be sent to the nearest town and told to practice cooking. From here, you'll learn how to craft your own Basic Campfire. To craft this, you'll need Simple Wood, Flint, and Tinder. Flint and Tinder are sold by the Cooking Trainer.

After this, you'll be able to have three items placed in your camp. However, you can only place one item; other people or friends need to put the other two. You'll also be able to upgrade your camp to add more items later on. Additionally, you'll be given a 101 Quest for the profession you trained for.

Hand this to your Profession Trainer to be taught the Tier One item relating to your chosen profession.
