And here is the launch trailer that goes through most of the major additions coming to both games:
New Weapons
The season brings six new weapons into the game, which you can find listed below, along with a few extra details:

- MK35 ISR (Assault Rifle): Available through the battle pass.
- VST (SMG): Available through the battle pass.
- Strider 300 (Sniper Rifle): Available through an in-game event.
- 1911 (Pistol): Available as a weekly challenge reward.
- Siren (Special): Available through an in-game event.
- Katana (Melee): Available through an in-game event.
New Modes
These are all the new modes and adjustments to existing modes that are coming throughout the season:

- Battle Royale: Avalon will be added to the rotation in-season. This means the battle royale playlist will rotate between Verdansk and Avalon.
- Launch Squad LTM (Launch): Squads drop into the new Launch POI in Verdansk and race to activate the Launch Sequence. The Launch Sequence activates once enough Launch Codes have been collected from eliminated enemies and other means.
- Hot Pursuit (Mid-season, Avalon): Squads of four drop in and choose their journey as cops or robbers, and players respawn as long as one team member is alive. Cops hunt down robbers, and robbers try to find valuables. Vehicular combat is key in this mode.
- Prop Hunt Royale (Mid-season, Rebirth Island): This is a prop hunt match of 24v24. Props get 30 seconds to hide while Hunters are locked in their spawn. Teams alternate roles between rounds, and the first team to win three rounds wins the match.
- Iron Gauntlet (Returning LTM, In-season, Avalon): Drop into a competitive Battle Royale tournament as a Trio with adjusted rules that favor skill over luck, including scarce resources, rapid circle collapses, increased base health for every Operator, loot rebalancing, one hit kill protection, and other changes keeping the action focused on decision making and gunplay.
New Gameplay Features
On the technical side, the following gameplay adjustments and updates will be implemented throughout the season:
Private Match (Launch)
- Private Match codes are now hidden by default when the Lobby is created and can be toggled to be visible or not.
- Lobbies no longer disband after a match completes.
- Members of a Squad can change the name of the squad they belong to. One squad member has this edit function.
- The Host now supports the option to obscure player names/gamer tags in the Lobby.
- Expect additional features within the end-of-match scoreboard.
Wall Jump and Grappling Hook (Launch)
- At launch, the two mechanics will be implemented into the Battle Royale and Resurgence modes.
Flashpoint Public In-Game Event (Launch)
- When this event occurs, a random location is designated as the target, initiating a countdown until the chosen location is bombarded by a missile strike, eliminating all players in the area and leaving a damaging cloud in its wake that covers the immediate area until eventually dissipating.
Spikes (In-season)
- Spikes are new equipment that work as stimulants, giving the user special boosts. Here are the different spikes available, which will be available through the buy stations:
- Armor Salvaging: Immediately gain an equipped Armor Plate after eliminating an enemy.
- Prone Firing: Greatly reduce weapon recoil while crouched or prone.
- Handicraft: Regenerate Equipment over time.
- EMP Grenades will be added at launch.
- Cluster Grenades will be added with the mid-season update.
Other Details
Here are other minor details about the new Season's content so you don't miss out on anything:
