When Does Black Ops 7 Season 3 Come Out?
Season 3 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 1, for all platforms. An update will go live at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM BST) to add all the new content to both games.
The season is expected to last around eight weeks, with a major update arriving in the middle to add all content related to the Season 3 Reloaded side.

New Weapons
Here is the new weaponry that will get added to the game throughout the season, along with a couple of details:

New Modes
On the multiplayer side, here are all the new modes coming to the game and a few extra details:
- Demolition (Launch): The attacking team must detonate both bomb sites while the defending team attempts to hold them off, with both sides respawning throughout the match.
- Aim High (In-season): Compete in a variety of game modes where headshots instantly eliminate enemies, while shots against any other part of the body deal minimal damage.
- Snipers Only (In-season): A pure sniping experience where Equipment, Secondary Weapons, Field Upgrades, and Scorestreaks are all restricted.
- Freerun (Mid-season): Run and climb your way through Ascent, an original map for Freerun, a mode that pits ten racers in a sprint to the finish line.
- Heat Wave Havoc (Mid-season): Players can support their teammates raising their heat levels. There are five Heat Levels, with each one granting additional abilities. Here are the effects of each heat level:
- Low Heat: Faster Field Upgrade recharge.
- Medium Heat: Faster movement, sprint-to-fire speed, and mid-air mobility.

- Freeze Tag (Mid-season): When dealt lethal damage, Operators will now become frozen instead of being eliminated. Freezing rival players will earn score for your team. Fellow teammates can save their incapacitated allies by reaching and defending their frozen forms until they can move again.

- Directed Mode will be added to Paradox Junction at launch.

- Endgame, the campaign's open world mode, will go free-to-play from the start of Season 3 for a limited time. The end date for this free-to-play period hasn't been announced as of yet.
- A new scorestreak titled Ion Core is coming to Multiplayer and Zombies. This is a powerful radioactive device that damages enemies nearby, similar to the Reactor Core from Firebreak in Black Ops 4. These are its overlock abilities:
- Plutonium Core: A longer duration grants an additional radiation pulse.
- Chemical Catalyst: Shorter downtime between radiation pulses.
