When Does Black Ops 7 Season 3 Come Out?
Season 3 of Black Ops 7 and Warzone is scheduled to begin on Thursday, April 1, for all platforms. An update will go live at 9:00 AM PT (5:00 PM BST) to add all the new content to both games.
The season is expected to last around eight weeks, with a major update arriving in the middle to add all content related to the Season 3 Reloaded side.
New Maps
The latest episode of the COD POD podcast confirmed that Plaza will be one of the multiplayer maps coming in Season 3. As many may recall, the map was first released in Black Ops 2 and has never received a remastered version in subsequent games until now.
That is the only multiplayer map confirmed so far, but with the season adopting a winter theme, we can expect to see at least one map covered in snow or something similar. We could see a brand-new area, or maybe a remastered version of a snow map that appeared in a previous Treyarch title, like Summit or Array from the first Black Ops.
New Zombies Map
A new round-based Zombies map is coming with Season 3, and Treyarch confirmed during a private call with content creators that it will arrive with the Season 3 Reloaded update. The developers also promised that this map and the next two maps will be based on new locations and will feature a new Wonder Weapon.
The Paradox Junction easter egg hinted that the characters are headed to a cold place, meaning the map will probably have a cold setting, following the season's theme.
