Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Release Date
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has been delayed, and the game will now release on February 12, 2027. The game was originally planned to arrive sometime in 2026, but many believe it was delayed to keep it away from GTA 6, which is releasing in November.
Which Platforms Is Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis On?
Legacy of Atlantis will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through Steam.
Amazon Game Studios promised that the Switch 2 version will have "the same cinematic scale and fluid gameplay" as the other platforms, meaning we shouldn't see a compromised port on the hybrid console.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis Editions
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is now available for pre-order in three editions: the Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's edition.
The Standard edition only offers a copy of the game, and will cost $60/60€/50£. On the other hand, the Deluxe edition will offer 48-hours of early launch access, the DLC story pack, and the Lara Croft Parisian Fugitive outfit.
The Deluxe edition will be priced at $70/70€/60£. Lastly, the Collector's edition will be the big package, offering everything the Deluxe edition has, plus the following items:
- Lara Croft vs. The T-Rex statue

Story
Legacy of Atlantis is a reimagining of the original Tomb Raider game, but it will feature some twists and changes. That is why we see Lara using her iconic outfit in the trailers.
Although it hasn't been confirmed or acknowledged by the studio, many believe this will also serve as a continuation of the Survivor trilogy, as one of the trailers explicitly mentions that she survived The Dragon’s Triangle, something we saw in the 2013 game.
If that's the case, the game will feature an experienced Lara that has gone through the events of the 2013 reboot, as well as Rise and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
