Want to know how to get a high score in the Go Ghost Go Destiny: Rising minigame? Sit tight, as I’ve compiled some tips to make your life easier.
The mobile spin-off of the Destiny franchise, developed by NetEase, Destiny: Rising, includes a very fun minigame in which you control a Ghost as you try to evade enemies and obstacles along the way. If you’re familiar with the iconic Google dinosaur game, you’ll know what to expect.
What’s best is that getting high scores actually nets you rewards for the main game. So, here are some of my recommendations to help you achieve a high score.
How To Get A Go Ghost Go! High Score
These will be general tips that I recommend you follow. It’s a very simple but addictive minigame that has some hidden mechanics.
Use The Emergency Maneuver Boost
The game doesn’t fully explain it, but you can get rewarded for dodging an obstacle as soon as you’re about to get hit.
While continuously surviving is the safest way to get points, waiting until the last frame to jump out of danger will net you an extra 50 points.
Try Out The Blink Mechanic
You can take out small fences, shanks, and drones. To activate the blink mechanic (a nod to the Warlock’s iconic jump) you need to tap the screen right after you’ve performed your double jump. If you successfully hit one of the aforementioned enemies, you’ll get a +50 points bonus
Play Aggressively And Don’t Get Cornered
Your first instinct may be to try to play without taking many risks. I advise against that. You don’t want to get backed into a situation where you’re about to be swarmed by enemies with no way of activating blink to get you out of the situation with some bonus points to boot.
It’s worth mentioning that if your goal isn’t a high score but rather claiming some of the rewards available, playing aggressively is the fastest way to collect them, as the score is cumulative and can be earned in multiple runs. Speaking of which
What Are The Go Ghost Go! Rewards?
The initial rewards include Glimmer and Lumia Leaves. More rewards will be available via the arcade in the Haven Bazaar.
- 5000 points: 5k Glimmer
- 10,000 points: 5k Glimmer
- 15,000 points: 20 Lumia Leaves
Lumia Leaves are required to get pulls in Destiny: Rising. So it’s neat that you have a bunch of them as a reward for playing a minigame.
