Waking up Snorlax in Pokemon Pokopia is a vital part of progressing the story, but it might not be as easy as everyone thinks.
In Pokopia, you play as a Ditto trying to uncover why humans have mysteriously vanished from the planet. Set in a post-apocalyptic Kanto region, the goal is to befriend fellow Pokemon and work together to rebuild towns and habitats.
Snorlax is one of the key Pokemon in progressing through the story of Pokopia, so you must find it. Here's everything you need to know about finding and waking up Snorlax.
Where to Find Snorlax in Pokemon Pokopia
Snorlax can be found in Bleak Bleach, which is unlocked after building Withering Wasteland's Pokemon Center.

To find Bleak Beach, head south toward the desolate S.S. Anne, then go left toward the beach hut. On the cliffside of Bleak Beach, you'll come across blocks that can be torn down with Rock Smash. Behind that is none other than Snorlax.

Except this Snorlax looks different. It's not just any Snorlax, it's Mosslax! It's a Snorlax that was so angry after it lost a fight with another Pokemon that it fell asleep to calm down. However, it ended up sleeping for years. By the time it woke up, Mosslax was surrounded by moss and dirt. Mosslax had slept for so long that it had forgotten the Pokemon it lost to.

You'll notice that after you smash into Mosslax's hiding spot, it won't wake up. To awaken the Pokemon, you need to complete a mission.
How to Wake Up Snorlax in Pokemon Pokopia
There are certain prerequisites you need to meet before you get the mission to wake Mosslax up. First, you need to fix the flooded Pokemon Center, give Meowth a home, provide Trubbish with a habitat, and brighten the area up with the help of Pawmi.

Once all has been completed, Trubbish will tell you that it can hear some strange noises. Ask Trubbish to follow you and lead it to Mosslax's spot. When you two arrive, Trubbish will recommend that you ask Professor Tangrow to visit Mosslax to try and wake it up.

Head to the Pokemon Center and lead Professor Tangrowth and Meowth to Mosslax's abode. With his amazing deductions, Professor Tangrowth suggests restoring light to Bleack Beach to help wake Mosslax up. This will trigger the Important Request "Brighten Things Up!" to start.
How to Complete the Brighten Things Up Request
Once this starts, speak to Meowth, who will ask for more Streetlights to be installed in town. Craft the Harbor Streetlights and place them around town, using Pawmi to power them. Once you've placed enough, head back to Meowth to complete the mission.

After speaking to Torchic, who will provide you with another way of making the town brighter, it will ask you to create a Resort meal prep habitat, which can be made directly in front of Mosslax's home. The right spot will have a palm tree and a campfire.
Add a log chair, a Leppa berry, and a plate, and the habitat will be officially up and running. Speak to Torchic after the habitat has been built to complete the request.
Head over to Mosslax's lair and speak to Professor Tangrowth. He will be pondering on more ways to brighten up the town. Meowth will then point out a Pokemon arriving in the middle of the town. Head to the area Meowth is talking about and meet Peakychu, a new Pikachu variant.

Professor Tangrowth will ask Peakychu if it can generate electricity to brighten the town, only to discover that Peakychu has lost all its electric capabilities. When the conversation ends, wait for Peakychu and Professor Tangrowth to head over to Mosslax's abode.
When Peakychu appears in front of Mosslax, it will suggest using a Shell Lamp to brighten the cave. You will receive the recipe to create the item. Gather the materials - 2 Seashells and 2 Sea glass fragments - and craft the Shell Lamp. Once you have it, place it in Mosslax's cave and use an electric Pokemon to power it up.

Once the lamp has been lit, Professor Tangrowth and Pikachu decide to try generating electricity for the town. Peakychu will lead you to the Windmill on the beach and will ask you to move power from the Windmill to a utility pole to pass electricity between the two items. You can pick up the Utility Pole or craft one, then place it within the Windmill's radius.

This will supply power to the utility pole. After, Peakychu will ask you to place a Harbor Streetlight within that same radius, so the Windmill can shift electricity to both the Utility Pole and the Streetlight. You will then be asked by Professor Tangrowth and Peakychu to use the Utility Poles and Streetlights to brighten up the Beach.
Once you've placed enough, talk to Professor Tangrowth, who will commend your work. Peakychu will then recall a device that might help you finally wake Mosslax up. Peakychu will lead you to the device, which will ask you to use Utility Poles to send power to the platform.
Destroy the blocks that are blocking your path and place a Utility Pole close enough to the device. If done right, the light bulbs on it will light up, allowing Peakychu to use the device. It will absorb the electricity from the device and use that energy to perform Flash, brightening up the town.

Return to Mosslax. If the final flower has bloomed on its head, it means you successfully restored light in the town. However, Mosslax is still dead asleep. A Pokemon will hit both Mosslax and the cliff with lightning, jolting Mosslax awake and destroying part of the area.
Ta-da! Mosslax is now awake. To progress with the story, head up the cliff and speak to the new Pokemon (no further spoilers here!).
