Overwatch Reign of Talon Season 2 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, April 14. A new update will go live at 11:00 AM PT (7:00 PM BST) on all platforms to add the new content.
The season should last between 8 and 9 weeks, with a major mid-season patch arriving in the middle to add the content for the second half.
New Hero: Sierra

Skins and Cosmetics
Although this season's trailer hasn't been released, leaker SkaVorah shared images of some of the upcoming skins. The first image reveals new skins for Lifeweaver, Illari, Sierra, Ashe, and Wuyang.
The starter pack for this season will include a new Jetpack Cat skin of her wearing a panda outfit, as you can see below.
The leaker also revealed that Soldier: 76 will receive a mythic skin and Genji will receive a mythic weapon at launch. The mythic skin for the mid-season is still unknown at the moment.
Confirmed Additions
The roadmap for this year's content revealed that the following additions are coming with Season 2:
- Ramattra will get added as a new hero in Stadium.
- There will be an event to celebrate the franchise's 10th anniversary in May.
- The post-match screen will be reworked to show accolades, similar to the post-match cards that were available before the Overwatch 2 era.
