Monster Hunter Wilds is getting a brand-new collaboration with Final Fantasy XIV. Players can expect Chocobos as new mounts as well as new monsters to take down: Omega Planetes.
The collaboration is part of Title Update 3, which will be completely free for all MH Wilds players. On top of the FFXIV crossover, it will bring the Festival of Accord seasonal event and various improvements yet to be revealed.
If you’re eagerly waiting for this content drop, you won’t have to wait for too long. The FFXIV x MH Wilds crossover will be releasing in late September, with a proper date not set in stone.
This isn’t the first time both franchises have collaborated. Back in Monster Hunter World, hunters got special FFXIV-themed assignments and monsters to take down. So while not entirely new, some fans would have loved to see an extra bit of content this time around.
