  • Quick Answer: CyberLeek has leaked more GTA 6 gameplay, revealing that a first-person mode while driving is coming at launch. The infamous leaker is back, revealing first-person mode driving gameplay.

Back in August, an entity named CyberLeek started leaking GTA 6 footage, revealing many aspects about the game such as movement mechanics, combat, a nudist town, supercars, and more.

Since Netflix's GTA 6: An Extended Look premiered, the infamous leaker disappeared from the internet. However, the leaker is back and posted almost 25 minutes of new gameplay footage and cutscenes.

Without going into too much detail, the footage confirms the game will feature a first-person mode when driving, as we see gameplay from inside the car, just like in GTA 5. However, this doesn't mean that the game will have a full dedicated first-person mode.

Davy Jones, one of the content creators invited to the game's preview event at Rockstar, reported in August that the first-person functionality will be limited, meaning no on-foot first-person view. Rob Nelson, the studio co-head at Rockstar North, explained that the game is being primarily built around the third-person view.

It was also reported that players may be able to enter first-person view when aiming with certain weapons, although this wasn't showcased in the leaked footage.

We can assume the developers plan to add a complete first-person mode through a post-launch update at some point, similar to how GTA 5's first-person mode was added a year after its initial release.

With almost a month before release, it's unclear whether CyberLeek plans to continue posting footage or go back to radio silence after this latest drop.
