How to Help Fighting Miis Make Up in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream

In Tomodachi Life, fights can happen randomly, especially between Sweethearts and couples. There are two types of fights: a normal fight and a huge fight.

You won't always need to intervene during a normal fight. While they might throw things and huff at each other, things can calm down without action. If you check their relationship chart, you'll see that the two Miis will have a question mark at the end of their relationship status.

To help them make up, you need to calm down your Mii by giving them food, clothing, hats, or other items they like. Once they've calmed down, a cutscene will play where they will apologize to their friend. The other Mii can either accept the apology or reject it. If they accept it, they will be friends; but if they don't, the Mii who apologized will be depressed.

There might still be a chance to salvage the fight. If their relationship chart still says "Friend (Fight)" for a few days, the other Mii may try visiting the depressed resident to restore their friendship.

In a Huge Fight, you'll find your Mii with a fiery aura. They won't want to apologize and won't be calmed down when given gifts. For this fight, you'll need a third Mii who is friends with the two fighting parties. The third Mii will attempt to intervene in the fight, triggering a cutscene of them trying to make the two make up.

If they succeed, the two Miis will make up. But if they fail, they will continue to fight, and the third Mii will appear sad (but won't become depressed).

For both a normal and a huge fight, if all attempts at reconciliation are ignored, they will then be removed from each other's relationship charts and become acquaintances.
