- Quick Answer: Go to Hawkstone Ruins in Deleysia before 5 AM, interact with the cogwheel to wake the Iron Eagle, and feed it Mercury using a Sotdae.
The Iron Eagle is arguably one of the coolest-looking birds in Crimson Desert. And the best part? It can become your pet.
Since launch, Pearl Abyss has introduced the ability to add unique animals to your pet list, like the Legendary Phoenix and the Abyss Heuklang. In the most recent patch update, two new birds were also added - the Hyacinth Macaw and the Iron Eagle.
The latter is a mechanical bird that can be added to your animal roster. Here's how to get it!
How to Find and Tame the Iron Eagle in Crimson Desert
To find the Iron Eagle, head to the Hawkstone Ruins in Deleysia. On the map, this is located above the "A" in Deleysia. The exact pin can be found below.

Head to this location at 5 PM. Once at this location, find the rotating cogwheel and interact with it. This will trigger a cutscene of the Iron Eagle awaking from its slumber. It will then fly above the Hawkstone Ruins.

To lure it in, you'll need to use the Sotdae of Bond. Place it on the floor of the ruins and fill it with 20 Mercury. Wait until the Iron Eagle feeds from the Sotdae and for your Trust Level with the bird to max out.

Once your Trust Level is maxed out, you can approach the Iron Eagle and claim it as your pet.

Now you have a mechanical bird joining you on your adventure across Pywel!
