Free PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch And Mobile Games To Play During Self-Isolation

With the covid-19 virus keeping everyone in their homes, we look to some fun, and free-to-play games on console, mobile, and PC, to keep us occupied.

Be sure to bookmark this page, as we'll be adding more to the list shortly!

Here's a list of the free to play games during self-isolation:

Watchdogs (PC)

Free on the Epic Gamestore for a few more days, if you're a fan of that other open-world sandbox game that gives you the freedom to do anything (which isn't free right now,) then you're going to love this.

Watchdogs puts you in the shoes of Aiden Pearce, a hacker with a major chip on his shoulder.

The thing that separates this game from all of the other open-world games out there, is the ability to hack anything using your phone.

Being pursued by the police? No problem! Hack the traffic lights to cause traffic accidents. Low on cash? Not to worry, you can hack random pedestrians and steal directly from their bank accounts.

You can get the game free from the Epic Gamestore here.

Check out the gameplay video below if, for some reason, you need more convincing.

Call of Duty: Warzone (PS4, Xbox, and PC)

The game's story takes place in the fictional realm of Teleria, which has been subjugated by the Dark Lord Siroth.

Players take the role of an ancient Telerian warrior resurrected to defeat the Dark Lord and restore peace and harmony to the territory.

Players must assemble an army for battles in settings such as castles, dungeons, deserts and temples defended by enemies and possible allies.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp (Mobile)

Animal Crossing New Horizons released only three days ago, and with Amazon prioritising medical supplies in its warehouses, some fans are still yet to grab themselves a copy.

Luckily, this free-to-play mobile game is just as wholesome, and will warm the soul with its aesthetically pleasing environment, and satisfying tasks.

Gwent (PS4, Xbox, Mobile, and PC)

When The Witcher 3 released, it became apparent early on that this game was special.

The most addictive part of the game was the minigame, Gwent, a simple card game that offered its own side-quests.

Players would traipse all across the Continent playing pros and noobs alike for money and new cards as a reward.

The new standalone game takes everything we loved about the Witcher 3 minigame and builds on it in clever and creative ways.

Shadow of the Colossus & Sonic Forces (PS4)

If you're subscribed to Playstation Plus, this month, you can net yourself two absolute classics.

Shadow of the Colossus is a single-player, narrative-driven game, with twists and turns that will pull on your heartstrings.

Whilst Sonic Forces is a warm blanket of nostalgia, with a fresh coat of paint and a well-written story to boot.

You can add these games to your library to own them for life.

Whether you want to be a hero that's half robot, half clown, with super strength, or you want to be a reptile-like villain that can jump over buildings, and burn people with laser eyes, this game has you covered.

Set in... you might have guessed it... the DC Universe, this MMORPG will have you tearing up cities you'll recognise, while fighting your opposition to ensure your chosen faction reigns supreme.

In addition to this, you and your friends will be given tasks by some familiar faces from the DC Universe.

This game is huge, and has the most amount of content in this list.

Hitman 2 (PS4, Xbox, and PC)

If you haven't played either of the newer Hitman games, you can download the first mission to try it out.

Although it's only one mission, there's a slew of creative ways to take down your target.

Despite being 12 years old, the game is still incredibly popular.

The MMORPG, based on the Star Wars universe, sees the story take place in the Star Wars universe shortly after the establishment of a tenuous peace between the re-emergent Sith Empire and the Galactic Republic.

Players join as members of either of the two main factions – the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Although each faction is led by a benevolent or malevolent leader, it is emphasized that an individual member may possess a morality at any point along the light/dark spectrum.
