Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave is releasing September 17, adding one more major title to an already stacked final quarter of 2026.
Following the somewhat disappointing Engage, Fortune's Weave looks like a return to form for the franchise, with gameplay, music, story, and visuals all looking like a major step up. It helps that this game will be available only on Nintendo Switch 2, which gives the team more room to flex their creative muscles.
The June 9 Nintendo Direct confirmed what we had anticipated: Fortune's Weave will have four playable protagonists: Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda. The game will take place in the continent of Dadga, confirming it's part of the Three Houses universe, although we still don't know if it's a sequel, a prequel, or an alternate universe.
What we do know is that Fortune's Weave will get a massive special edition with plenty of goodies for super fans to enjoy, including a map of the Dadgan continent, world map, steel book, and an art book.
