Clover Retribution race perks
Each race in Clover Retribution will have perks to set them apart. Here’s a look at the bonuses you can use for the Clover Retribution races.
Lesser Angel
Lesser Angel is a solid all-around pick, especially if you want better survivability without relying on hit streaks or a specific magic. Magic Resistance helps against spell damage, while Divine Retribution can save you from a lethal hit. Heavenbound is also useful if you're working on Spirit progression. Light and Time add more recovery options through Divine Light's healing and Rewind's damage reversal, but don't treat them as a free second health bar. Divine Light has a 60-second cooldown, and Rewind's exact limits are still unclear. You still need to create space and play smart after surviving a hit, because Angel doesn't guarantee a safe window to cast your next spell.
Lesser Demon
Lesser Demon is a strong S-tier pick if your playstyle revolves around landing melee hits without letting your opponent hit back. Its potential 25% physical damage bonus is the main draw, while Hellsworn, extra Health, and Physical Resistance make it a solid fit for weapon-focused builds. Flame and Lightning also pair well with M1 attacks, giving you reasons to mix weapon hits between spells. Beast can support close-range pressure too, but don't assume every claw or kick spell counts toward Demon's stacks. Try to understand spacing, range, and how to stay out of range so that you don't trade blows. There are lots of stats like physical resistance that reduce the incoming damage, but none of them will stop you from taking the hits.
Dark Elf
Much like their elvish brethren, Dark Elves are great at dealing damage. However, they are more specialised spellcasters, having a 20% damage bonus for fire attacks coupled with a +15 to Intelligence.
High Elf
High elves excel at dishing out the offense with a +10 to Intelligence along with a 12% magic damage bonus. They also gain 50% more mana to ensure that they’re constantly slinging spells.
Eldritch
Eldritch is a decent B-tier option, especially if you're building around physical damage. Corrupt Physique gives you a steady 2.5% physical damage bonus without needing to build up a hit streak, while the extra 10 Health and 2 Max Resolve add some useful survivability and combat flexibility. It can fit nicely with Strength-focused weapon builds and Misdirect traits, although their exact synergy still needs testing. The main downside is that its damage boost is pretty modest, and it's not yet clear how much those extra Resolve points improve your options in a fight. It's still worth keeping while you work on your weapon build.
Dryad
Dryad gives your character +12 Intelligence and +5 Constitution, and increases the healing output of all healing spells by 50%, making it a strong choice for builds that focus on magic support and healing.
Human
Humans drew the short straw in this world since they don’t get any special traits or bonuses.
Mahari
The Mahari have wheels floating above their heads that turn when they take damage. This signals that they are adapting to this particular damage type.
Ryomen
This race gets a +10 to Constitution, making them extremely tanky. They also get an additional +10% to their mana, giving them the edge in prolonged fights.
Ryomen also get a double health regen bonus while outside of combat.

Once a Mahari has fully adapted to a damage type, the damage they receive from that type will be halved. Mahari can adapt to two different damage types at a time.
Dreadscale
Dreadscale has strong offensive and defensive stat boosts as you level up, including +20% health, +15% resistance to slashing and bludgeoning, and extra Constitution, Strength, and Intelligence.
When you reach level 50 with Dreadscale, you can also unlock a special Dragon’s Fear move that deals damage and helps with evasion, making it a solid choice if you want a tanky melee or hybrid build.
Solean
Solean has high stat boosts and unique perks with +12 Dexterity, +15 Intelligence, and +20 Constitution, making it strong in both agility and magical prowess.
Solean also grants flame immunity and a special flight ability, giving you mobility advantages and resistance to fire damage in combat.
Starborn
Starborn is considered one of the stronger picks, especially for magic‑focused builds with +65 INT, +5 CON, +20% Mana increase, +50% resistance to all magic damage, which are great for spellcasters and improving survivability in magical combat.
Siphonite
Siphonite has +5 Intelligence, +10 Constitution, +25 % Mana Regeneration, and +5 flat regen, which is a good choice if you want strong mana sustain and survival buffs for magic‑focused builds
Lynthari
The Lynthari are swift, agile, and get a +10 to Dexterity, making them extremely proficient at wielding weapons. This race is great for those who prefer a more fast-paced and precise play style.
High Orc
While High Orcs don’t stand out with any special passives, they are well-rounded enough for you to get through Clover Retribution with relative ease. Their solid damage numbers make up for what they lack in flair.
Gorgon
Gorgon gives you bonuses such as poison and petrification immunity, +10 Dexterity, +6 Damage Resistance, and +25% piercing damage, making it a strong pick for dex‑focused builds.
Stonekin
Stonekin has +10 Constitution, +5 Strength, +25% HP, receive 25% less bludgeoning damage, making your character tougher in combat and giving you a more resilient, tank‑like build compared to many other races.
Hybrid Elf
Hybrid Elves live up to their name since they are effective at dealing damage with both spells and weapons.
- Freebie alert: Dungeon Quest codes
They gain a +2 bonus for Intelligence and Dexterity along with a 5% increase in mana and a 5% bonus on piercing and slashing damage.
Goblin
If it’s treasure and fortune you’re looking for in Clover Retribution, then the Goblin race might be for you. They obtain 10% more gold than the other races.
Orc
Orcs love a good brawl, so they get the Fighter passive. This trait gives them a +4 bonus to Dexterity and +3 to Strength.
Beast
The most feral of all the races in Clover Retribution, Beasts gain +3 Strength, +7 Constitution, and a 10% increase in dealing bludgeoning damage.
Dwarf
If you’re aiming for a more peaceful life in this game, then the Dwarf race is what you should be after. Their bonuses have nothing to do with combat since they focus on becoming more efficient crafters.
