With week two of Black Ops 7 Season 1 now live, more new content is now available in the game, including a brand-new attachment for the Akita shotgun: the Akita Scorchlink Akimbo.
Anyone can unlock this to run two shotguns at the same time, and you might want to do it once you see how powerful they are (especially since Treyarch is already planning a nerf). To give you a hand, we have prepared a guide to explain how to unlock it.
How to Unlock the Akita Scorchlink Akimbo Attachment
To unlock the Akita Scorchlink Akimbo attachment, you will simply need to complete six of the week two challenges, regardless of the mode.
That means you can just hop on your favorite mode (Multiplayer, Campaign/Endgame, Zombies, or Warzone) and complete the challenges listed in the game. You can also mix up challenges, as they don't have to be all from the same mode.
Week Two Challenges
In case you're not sure where to check or simply want to read up on the challenges, here is a list of all the week two challenges:
Co-Op and Endgame
- Eliminate 50 Guild Teach enemies
- Get a kill while driving a vehicle 25 times
- Eliminate 10 Guild G-R5
- Get 250 eliminations with Assault Rifles
- Destroy 3 Guild D.A.W.G.S.
- Get 50 Critical Kills
Multiplayer
- Earn 40000 total score
- Earn 10 double kill medals or better (2 rapid kills)
- Get 10 kills with melee weapons
- Get 250 eliminations with Assault Rifles
- Get 10 kills with the Skewer or RC-XD scorestreak
- Get 10 headshots
Zombies
- Survive a round beyond Round 15 20 times
- Earn 25 Slaughter Medals (5 rapid kills)
- Earn 5 Jackrabbit medals (15 kills without taking damage)
- Get 1000 zombie eliminations with Pack-A-Punched Assault Rifles.
- Get 300 critical kills
- Earn a Monke Business medal (10 or more kills with a single Combat Monkey)
Warzone
- Get 40 eliminations with Assault Rifles
- Get 2 eliminations without dying 5 times
- Get 5 headshots
- Complete 10 Scavenger contracts
- Open 15 Loot Caches in a single match 3 times
- Get 2 kills with Launchers
