Battlefield REDSEC system requirements

Battlefield REDSEC, the companion battle royale of Battlefield 6, is a free-to-play experience, meaning anyone with a current-gen console or a capable PC can download and start enjoying it. However, PC players must make sure their equipment meets the requirements to run the game smoothly.

After all, running the game on low FPS can be a nightmare, especially for online shooter titles. Here is everything we know about the requirements so you can have an optimal experience.

Battlefield REDSEC System Requirements

Although EA hasn't released a separate list of requirements, their social media has been posting the Battlefield 6 system requirements, indicating that the specs are the same for both games. Here are the minimum, recommended, and Ultra PC specs for you to check out:

As you can see, the requirements are not as lenient as with other current titles, and that is due to Battlefield 6 not having the limitations of last-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One).

As for the size, REDSEC is an extra package of the Battlefield 6 installation, meaning we don't have a defined size for just the battle royale portion. At the time of writing, it's unclear if REDSEC will have its own separate download or if all players will have to download Battlefield 6 to enjoy it.
