Battlefield REDSEC is the new battle royale launching as a companion game to Battlefield 6. The title was first teased back in July, when Battlefield 6's multiplayer was revealed, and players have been waiting to play ever since.
Now that the game is out, we have a simple guide explaining how to download, so you can drop into Fort Lyndon.
How to Download Battlefield REDSEC
The process of downloading Battlefield REDSEC will vary, depending on whether you have Battlefield 6 already installed or not. Here are the steps you need to follow for each case and platform:
With Battlefield 6 Installed
This first option is only for those who have purchased Battlefield 6. Head to Settings, System, and Install/Uninstall. In there, you will find all the packages for the different major modes, including the battle royale. Make sure to tick the REDSEC content pack.

After that, a new download will prompt on your platform to get all the files related to the battle royale. Once the download is over, you can restart your game and load up REDSEC.
Without Battlefield 6 installed
As for the other players who haven't acquired Battlefield 6, REDSEC is available as a separate download, saving many users from having to download all the files from the premium title and making it accessible quickly.
Here are the game's storefront links for each platform:
