Battlefield REDSEC, the companion battle royale title of Battlefield 6, is now available to play. With users rushing to download it, it might be a good idea to make sure you have enough free space on your device, whether it's a console or a PC.

Here is everything we know about the download size of the battle royale now that it's available on all storefronts.

How Big Is Battlefield REDSEC?

Although it has its own page on all storefronts, Battlefield REDSEC is still a content package of Battlefield 6, as the game uses all the assets and more from the premium title. Here is the estimated size of the battle royale without including the files from other modes:

  • Steam: 63.67 GB
  • Xbox: 105.92 GB
  • PlayStation: 57 GB

The PlayStation size is an estimate, as you will have to download the base game first, which is about 20 GB, and then all the REDSEC content packages.

Those who already have Battlefield 6 installed won't stress much, as they will only need to download an additional REDSEC content package. This package is 8.37 GB on PC and 3.67 GB on consoles.

Keep in mind that this is just the game's launch size. As the post-launch seasons come and more content gets added, the download size will only get bigger. We can expect some optimizations, but this download size will most likely increase in the future.
