Battlefield 6 has been out for two weeks, and EA hasn't announced anything regarding the release date of the new battle royale mode. This mode was first teased back in July during the game's multiplayer reveal event, and a private test took place for all Battlefield Labs members.
However, that doesn't mean we don't know when it will come out, as the release date has already leaked, and we have even more details about the mode.
When Does the Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Mode Come Out?
A release date for Battlefield 6's battle royale mode hasn't been announced at the time of writing. Nonetheless, according to leaker ModernWarzone on X (formerly Twitter), the mode is currently scheduled to release on Tuesday, October 28th.
Season 1 is also scheduled to begin that day, with patch 1.1.1.0 adding all the new content to the premium game. EA hasn't mentioned a word about the battle royale in all their announcements so far, which is why the community expects this to be a shadow drop.
ModernWarzone confirmed this in another post on X, saying that there won't be any trailers about it until the release day. The leaker also revealed that the battle royale will be titled Battlefield 6: RedSec.
Given that the first season is scheduled to go live at 8:00 AM PT (3:00 PM BST), we expect the battle royale mode to also release at that time.
