Battlefield 6 may have only been out for just over two weeks, but the imminent arrival of Season 1 showcases the developer’s intent to keep things fresh early on and maintain player interest as much as possible.
Season 1 of Battlefield 6 will be split into three phases, kicking off with Rogue Ops first, which includes a new map called Blackwell Fields alongside a 4v4 mode named Strikepoint. New weapons, attachments, and vehicles will also be included, in addition to the Season 1 Battle Pass.
What Time Does BF6 Season 1 Release?
Initially, Battlefield 6 Update 1.1.1.0 will be deployed across all platforms on Tuesday, October 28, at 09:00 UTC. Players will be prompted to download and install the update in advance, which includes all technical and gameplay changes.

Then, at 15:00 UTC the same day, Season 1 content will officially go live, including the Battle Pass, new map, game mode, weapons, and more.

According to reputable leaker ModernWarzone, Battlefield 6’s Battle Royale mode will be shadowdropping alongside Season 1 on Tuesday, October 28. Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson has independently verified the claim.
Reportedly titled Battlefield: RedSec, the free-to-play Battle Royale is said to be launching with Duos (2) and Squads (4) as the only available team sizes, although Solos and Trios are likely to be added in the future.
