Looks like Battlefield 6 has a whole new problem aside from server load during the beta season, as players have noticed that cheaters are already rampaging through Battlefield 6’s lobbies.

X (formerly Twitter) user ItsHapa posted a video clip showcasing a player blatantly using wallhacks and aimbots. In the footage, it clearly shows just how egregious and obvious the cheat is, as if the player didn’t even bother to hide it. The poster had to blur the cheater's name to avoid free advertising.

This comes shortly after Battlefield Studios announced that they are enforcing “Secure Boot” with TPM 2.0 and implementing kernel-level anti-cheat.

This is grim news for Battlefield 6 players, especially as the game is still attracting new participants and building momentum as one of the biggest first-person shooters of the year. If Battlefield Studios leaves this unchecked, it could alienate potential buyers who might have been excited to try a fresh Battlefield 6 experience.

There is a silver lining, however. Detecting cheats this early in the beta gives Battlefield Studios more data for improving their anti-cheat systems. This could help them identify the source of the exploit and implement failsafes before the game’s full launch on October 10.

For now, though, the situation looks bad from this cheater’s point of view. They are clearly struggling even with cheats enabled, which goes to show they're not really that good. But the fact that cheats are already making their way into Battlefield 6 is troubling for a limited-time beta. It also highlights just how massive the game’s appeal is, attracting not only eager players but also those looking to exploit it.

There’s still a long way to go before Battlefield 6’s full release, giving Battlefield Studios time to address this growing threat. In the meantime, players should be cautious when entering lobbies, as these exploits are actively in play.

The Battlefield 6 open beta goes live for all players in just a few hours, while those with a Twitch code for Early Beta Access can already jump in.
