- Quick Answer: A new Teamfight Fuse is coming to 2XKO Season 2, letting Duos fight together at the same time
2XKO Season 2 is almost upon us. Contrary to popular belief, Riot's fighting game is going relatively strong and will add new content when next season rolls around, including a brand new Fuse: Teamfight.
Fuses in 2XKO are massive modifiers that completely alter how you play the game. At the mid to high level, the most used is Freestyle, which allows for multiple tags in a single sequence, although some are more beginner-friendly, like Double Down, which lets you do super into super or Juggernaut, which removes the need for controlling two characters, powering up a single one for those who like learning one at a time.

Teamfight is a very unique Fuse, one that will work well, especially for those playing on Duos. It will allow for both Champions to be on screen at the same time and be controlled independently if you are in a Duo, although Solo players can still make use of it.
Now, that alone might seem extremely busted. Naturally, there are some caveats: first off, both Champions will need to spend 1 super meter bar. If you trigger Teamfight successfully, you'll have seven seconds to go crazy. Solo players will control both Champions simultaneously, but can focus on the point character by holding the designated Team button.
Some of the other important key elements to take into consideration when using Teamfight are:
- While in Teamfight mode, you lose access to Team actions like Tag Launcher, Assists, and Break. You also cannot use Ultimates while the Fuse is active for your team.
- As a defender, any hit landed on a Teamfighting duo reduces the Teamfight timer.
- If a defender lands a successful Ultimate (on the Point or Assist champ), it ends the Teamfight immediately.
- A Teamfighting Assist character only hits mids, meaning the offensive team has to work harder for creative offense.
As mentioned, the Teamfight Fuse will be available when 2XKO Season 2 lands on May 12.
