Apex Legends Scryer is one of several new Legends that appeared as part of a leak back in 2022. With Season 17 now underway, information surrounding the hero has quietened down as Respawn Entertainment's battle royale cycle continues to progress.

Scryer first appeared as a pilot in the IMC armed forces in Titanfall and following the recent launch of Ballistic, information on the pilot remains a mystery.

Before we take a closer look at all the rumours surrounding Scryer, take a look at our Apex Legends tier list showcasing the best Legends to use for the remainder of Season 17.

Apex Legends Scryer release date

We must stress that there has been no official confirmation from Respawn regarding the arrival of Scryer or any of the other leaked Legends, although their appearance looks like an inevitability rather than a potential.

With Season 18 the next update, this will be the next possible opportunity for the developers to add new Legends into the game but as of now, there's no sign of Scryer appearing anytime soon.

If Scryer does show signs of making a comeback, we'll update the guide with all the intel.

Apex Legends Scryer lore

As of now, there is no lore for Scryer, but that is expected to change once the character has been officially confirmed by Respawn.

However, the Scryer name is no stranger to the Titanfall franchise. Scryer was a cloak pilot who served with the IMC but was involved in a wreckage after responding to a distress signal.

Apex Legends Scryer abilities

Scryer prides itself on an ability to see things that others can't, whilst also limiting what others can see. Thanks to a leak on Reddit, we have been able to gather information on the passive, tactical and ultimate abilities of the soon-to-be-released Legend.

  • Passive - Spectator: Automatically Optic-Haunt and Spectate your killer.
  • Tactical - Optic-Haunt: Parasite Trap that reveals the Target's Vision.
  • Ultimate - Shadow Wall: Unleash a creeping Wall of Darkness that blocks sight and blinds enemies.

Scryer looks to be a great addition to any formidable Apex Legends team, with the Ultimate ability in particular very effective for those that attack as a unit rather than individuals.

That's all there is to know about Scryer in Apex Legends so far. As it's mostly leaks, it's important to take them with a pinch of salt until Respawn Entertainment unveils more information.
