Apex Legends Season 5: Dev confirms reconnect feature coming to PS4, Xbox and PC

Apex Legends Season 5 could be coming in early May, but a long-awaited feature could be arriving with it. 

Nothing hits home quite like approaching the final battle of a match, only to be met with a disconnect error, but the ability to reconnect could make that a little easier to swallow.

After professional Apex Legends player Mac 'Albralelie' Beckwith complained about lag issues and a disconnect, a dialogue ensued with Marcel 'Veineless' Lehmann (another pro player) chiming in to suggest a reconnect issue would alleviate much of the stress these issues cause.

In response, Josh Medina, the game's producer, tweeted "Real Soon".

Here's hoping the change is as soon as Medina says, giving players an opportunity to jump back into matches that they've been kicked from through no fault of their own.
