Bandai Namco has announced a new Scarlet Nexus Story Demo launches soon, letting players use both protagonists and transfer progress to the main game. Following on from a previous demo - which let players experience combat and explore some levels - this one looks more expansive.
Coming as part of the 1.08 update, this also adds a “Very Easy” mode and collaboration DLC with Tales of Arise. The latter adds new items and weapons that can be used in Scarlet Nexus for both protagonists.
Scarlet Nexus Gets New Demo and Updated Difficulty Settings
Scarlet Nexus released to mostly positive reception last year, thanks to a fun combat system and interesting but oft-considered flawed storyline. Marking one the first new JRPGs announced for next-gen systems, there's a free upgrade for those picking up the last-gen versions on PS4 and Xbox One.
Curious fans can pick up Scarlet Nexus right now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. No release date for the Scarlet Nexus Story Demo was announced, other than it's coming soon. We'll keep this updated when we hear more.
