You Can Now Watch the Scarlet Nexus Opening Movie

If you're interested in Bandai Namco's upcoming JRPG Scarlet Nexus, then hold onto your hats because you're able to watch the opening movie over on Bandai Namco's official YouTube channel.

If there's one thing we can count on when it comes to JRPGs from Bandai Namco, it's the stylized, action-like animated opening movie and Scarlet Nexus is no exception to that.

From the Tales of series to Scarlet Nexus, the opening movies usually give us a sense of watching a quick anime intro before delving right into the action and enthralling narrative.

In the Scarlet Nexus opening movie, the focus seems to be more on highlighting the weapons of main protagonists, Yuito Sumeragi and Kasane Randall, as well as the various companions that'll join them on their journey. You can watch the full Scarlet Nexus opening movie below.

Scarlet Nexus is releasing next month, with the main premise being set in a far distant future where people are granted powers through a psionic hormone in their brain. With these powers they can help change the world.

However, there's a catch. Deranged monsters called Others have descended from the sky with one thing on their mind: the consumption of human brains. Since their appearance, humans with the psionic hormone have formed a task force called Other Suppression Force (OSF) to rid these Others from the world.

It's with this premise that players join the two protagonists and their companions, in and outside of the OSF, as they fight to survive in a future of technology and psychic powers.

Scarlet Nexus will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on June 25, 2021.
