What is Group Stretching?

Group Stretching is the latest fitness activity introduced to Animal Crossing: New Horizons, showing that Nook Inc. cares about your wellbeing whilst you pay off your debts. The activity involves yourself, other villagers, and some special characters participating in some stretching exercises together. Additionally, if you have a friend visiting or you're visiting another island, you can take part in Group Stretching together!

How to Take Part in Group Stretching

The Tape Deck in front of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Town Hall is used to start Group Stretching.

You can now initiate Group Stretching by interacting with the Tape Deck in front of the Town Hall. This will cause characters to gather, some soothing music to play, and then you can go ahead and stretch your limbs.

The Direct announced that you will be able to participate in Group Stretching either by using the analog stick on your Nintendo Switch controller or by using motion controls. This means anyone can get involved, whether you actually want to get some stretches done or just see your favourite characters for a moment.

We'll make sure to add more information when the Version 2.0.0 update is live on November 5th. in the meantime, why not check out what there is to do on your island this Halloween?
