Animal Crossing: New Horizons Gets An Official Manga This September

While Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently received Update 1.11.0, Nintendo's slowly expanding to other media. First released in Japan during July 2020, New Horizons has seen a manga adaptation, published by Shogakukan and serialized in CoroCoro Comic.

Now, it's coming to the West. Originally announced back in February, VIZ Media's confirmed that Volume 1: Deserted Island Diary's being released on September 14, 2021.

Rather than adapt your villager's life directly, Deserted Island Diary instead provides a comedy-themed manga, one that centres on the lives of other village inhabitants when you've gone offline. That's available for pre-order from $9.99 via their official website. As for the UK, you can find that for £7.99 with an October 14, 2021 release date.

It won't stop here, either. Deserted Island Diary is still ongoing in Japan and so far, three volumes have been published, most recently releasing this June. We'd fully expect the remaining volumes to eventually arrive, and we'll keep you informed when we learn more.
